AAU Northeast Conference Fastpitch “Race to the Finish” Point System

The AAU Northeast Conference Fastpitch “Race to the Finish” is your team’s pathway to earning a spot in the prestigious AAU Northeast Conference Championship. This point system recognizes and rewards team performance throughout the season, with qualification for exclusive regional and national events on the line.
How It Works:
Points are earned by participating in AAU Northeast Conference Fastpitch Sanctioned Tournaments.

• 10 Points: Awarded to the tournament champion.
• 5 Points: Awarded to the tournament runner-up.
• 2 Points: Earned for each game your team wins in a sanctioned tournament.
• 1 Point: Earned for a tied game in a sanctioned tournament.
• 1 Point: Awarded for entering each sanctioned tournament.
Why Earn Points?
Teams with the most points at the end of the season will qualify for the AAU Northeast Conference Championship. Seeding is based on points earned.

• Limited Spots: Example- If there are 40 teams with points throughout the year and only 12 spots available in the tournament, the top 12 teams on the leaderboard will receive a bid to the Championship.

• Exclusive Opportunities: Top-performing teams in the Championship may also qualify for FREE ENTRY into premier AAU regional and national Fastpitch events.
