How to create a Club Team

This is usually done by an owner, administrator or founder. First purchase AAU club membership (must have AAU membership ID to complete this club application). At the end of this process, you will receive your AAU club code.

Go to http://www.aausports.org and click on Join AAU as a Non-Athlete

  • AAU Coach (Non-Athlete) Membership

  •  you will be put in a pending status until the background check has been completed

  • once you have been approved, you will received a confirmation email from the National Office

  • keep that membership card/number available to you since you may need it going forward

  • Ones your background is complete the Club owner can then apply for a "Club A" membership to participate in AAU Events

  • If your club wants to hosting a tournament you would need a "Club B" membership

  • "Club B" membership requires approval by the AAU Northeast Conference Commissioner of Softball

After you have completed your "Club A" application you will receive a Team Code. You can then give this team Code to your Individual Athletes and Coaches to use during their registration and will be put automatically in your club.
